Hi, I’m so glad you’re here!

Hi, I'm so glad you're here.
I'm Kathryn Dann, LISW — a Licensed Independent Social Worker with a background in trauma, attachment, and dual diagnosis.
I believe most of what brings people to therapy isn't weakness or failure — it's your system adapting to overwhelming experiences, chronic stress, unmet needs, or relational pain. Therapy is a space to understand those patterns with more compassion, clarity, and intention.
My approach is warm, relational, and grounded. I draw on nervous system regulation and attachment science to help you make sense of your experience — not just manage it, but actually shift it — so healing feels less like white-knuckling and more like coming home to yourself.
I've wanted to be a therapist since I was 16. Life took its own path first — I went back to school at 37, once my own kids were a little older. What sealed it, though, was my own work in therapy. Once I experienced what real, lasting change felt like — not just learning to cope, but actually healing — I knew I had to learn how to help other people get there too.
If this resonates with you, I'd be honored to connect.
